Amazing Grace

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not of your own doing. It is a gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

How big is God?  Sometimes we need to just stand in awe of his infinite power and give him the glory He deserves. It amazes me how the maker of the world would even care to know my name.

Our sun, the center of our solar system is one million times bigger than our earth. The sun is only one of millions of stars in our galaxy. Our galaxy is one of millions in our universe, our universe one in our multiverse, with our God, the maker and ruler of all. His power is endless. Have you ever noticed that all technology we use will run out of power? Yes, we can
charge up our batteries and pay the power bill to keep things running but our power is not endless. It will die out. Even we will die, but God’s power is infinite. The entire universe that he set into place by hand has never run out of power. The planets he spun into motion at the beginning of time are still spinning. But why would God, who owns all the power in the universe, allow us, a sinful puny race, to even exist? The answer is simple. God loves us. Not only that, He wants to have a personal relationship with us. So the next time you’re feeling small and powerless just remember that the Lord of all creation is on your side, and that through Christ, all things are possible.
